School Goals

• Promote a love of learning.

• Develop a sense of positive self-worth and wholesome identity.

• Guide the child toward the achievement of his/her individual potential within the social, affective, cognitive, and spiritual domains.

• Further the process of interpreting physical phenomena by developing a basic understanding of scientific concepts and terminology.

 • Developing an understanding and an appreciation for Jewish ethics/values and encourage the internalization of these values.

• Assist in the acquisition of knowledge of, and the ability to participate in the rituals, liturgy, and holy days, which express the values and ethics of Jewish tradition.

• Provide a program that integrates the General Studies disciplines with Hebrew/Judaic content and experiences.

• Develop an understanding of the role of Israel in Jewish history and its importance in contemporary life.

• Develop an effective relationship between the school and synagogue.
