PS/PK Curriculum

Shalom School’s Preschool and Pre-kindergarten students are provided with an educational foundation that meets each child’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs. Our program utilizes an integrated, theme-based curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and fosters the individual child's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive skills. The curriculum is aligned with the California Preschool Learning Foundations and it extends to all subject areas.

Shalom School’s classrooms provide engaging and diverse environments tailored to support all children’s learning. Our curriculum enables each child to progress at their own pace and build a positive self-concept. Each class features unique weekly themes and activities, reflecting the teachers' diverse expertise. Learning opportunities are adapted to the children's ages, developmental levels, and individual assessments. This approach ensures natural observations and interactions for effective assessment.
