PJ (as in "pajamas") Library is a national Jewish literacy program funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and locally by The Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region. Families raising Jewish children; affiliated, unaffiliated, interfaith or non-traditional from 6 months through 8 years of age are eligible to receive the gift of Jewish books delivered monthly to their home as well as are invited to events that encourage PJ families to connect. Enroll now! Please note that because of the popularity of PJ Library, there is currently a wait list. As additional funding becomes available, your child will begin receiving PJ books on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, contact 916-486-0906.

PJ OUR WAY is the newest chapter of PJ Library for 9-11-year-olds!

Our Jewish Federation's PJ Library program was one of 25 communities selected for this national pilot program. PJ Our Way takes PJ Library one step further by providing tweens the opportunity to:

  • Read reviews and select books of their choosing
  • Write reviews and blog postings
  • Connect with other PJ Our Way readers
  • Continue learning about Jewish values, holidays, heroes, Israel, and more
