Preschool Programs

Our Preschool and Pre-k programs provide a high quality early childhood education experience to families throughout the Sacramento region.  We offer developmentally appropriate curriculum, a highly qualified and well trained staff, and a safe and stimulating environment that prioritizes family engagement and communication.

Preschool

Our Preschool program serves children 2 to 4 years old. Our 2 year old classes maintain a 1:6 ratio and students may start in August or January. Our 2.5 year old class maintains 1:8 ratio and toilet training is not required. The 3 to 4 year old classes maintain a 1:12 ratio and toilet training is required. Students must be 3 by September 1st in order to attend our 3 year old classes. Students who are 4 by September 1st are eligible for Pre-k.

Preschool follows an academic calendar and runs from August to June. Parents may choose between half-days (M-F, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm) or full-days (M-F, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm). The half-day program also has early morning care available from 7:30 am to 9:00 am for a fee.

Pre-k

Our Pre-k program serves children who are 4 by September 1st and maintains a 1:12 ratio. Pre-k provides developmentally appropriate activities that prepare students for Kindergarten and beyond including Zoo-Phonics which develops phonemic awareness and Learning Without Tears which focuses on letter formation. Pre-k students also participate in specials including PE, music, library, and  other enrichment opportunities with the K-6 students.

Pre-k follows an academic calendar and runs from August to June. The hours are 8:00 am - 3:15 pm daily. Childcare is available from 7:30 am - 8:00 am free of charge. We also offer an after school program from 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm for a fee.

2 years  -  Chaverim (friends), Parparim (butterflies), and Dagim (fish)

2.5 - 3+ years  - Gesher (bridge)

3 years by Sept. 1 - Yonim (doves) and Dubim (teddy bears) - must be fully toilet trained

4 years by Sept. 1 - Pre-k Yellow and Pre-k Blue - must be fully toilet trained
